The painting is part of the "Work" pictorial cycle and is inspired by the figure of the poet Dante Alighieri in the eighteenth century after his death in 1321, and in particular by Canto XI of Purgatory and the triplet 51/54

The work is made with raw pigments mixed with linseed oil on linen canvas.
The work was selected for the "DanteDì" project with publication in the catalog "La Dipinta Commedia", Madiafactory 2021 editions.
