The painting depicts a group of people intent on cleaning the seashore of old light bulbs and broken neon thrown into the sea. The scene takes place at the dawn of a new day with a little girl waiting for the moment to bathe in a sea that has finally been cleaned up.
The work is part of the "Work" pictorial cycle, it is made by mixing raw pigments with linseed oil on canvas mounted on a wooden chasses.
