Vineyard in the south of France

This  watercolor was made in-situ on a wine estate called 'Chäteau Lancyre' , near the village of Valflaunès (Hérault). It showcases the iconic Pic Saint-Loup and Hortus mountains which can be seen in the background. The Pic Saint-Loup gave its name to a famous wine appellation (Its vinyards can be seen in the foreground)..

The impressionistic style and colorful palette conjure up a vibrant and evocative scene. The interplay of light and shade brings depth to the vineyard evokes the feeling of autumn in the south of France.
