Landscape in miniature
Large abstract works in natural stone have something of landscape about them: slope, edge, fissure. Abstract natural stone sculptures for sale at 2,000 to 5,000 euro suit anyone whose outdoor or indoor space needs a calm counterpart.
Abstract stone forms often recall rocks, dunes or glacier polish. The sculptor sets cuts, opens views through and leaves parts raw. The bigger the block, the more strongly the relation between mass and void comes forward. Sandstone looks warm and soft, limestone light and clear, slate severe and layered. Every choice of rock sets its own tone.

Placing it in practice
Plan a spot with distance on all sides so that the form can be walked around. Foundation and transport should be clarified beforehand. Ask about impregnation and type of rock, since that decides whether the piece may stand outdoors. Care for it with water and a soft brush. A photo with a size comparison, for example next to a door, makes the actual dimension of the sculpture easier to grasp.
