Current as shape
Abstract resin forms at larger scale look like frozen ocean currents or mineral veins. You can find abstract resin sculptures from 2,000 to 5,000 euro for sale when a work should have depth and presence.
At larger scale abstract casts show fine gradients: opaque and transparent zones, veins in gold or white, cells where colors separate. Every pour is a process the artist starts and only partly steers, so the result cannot be repeated.

Thinking together with the room
A large piece changes the effect of a whole wall. Do not let it vanish between books. A calm backdrop, for example plaster in greige or off-white, lets the color work stand out. Under backlight the picture changes strongly.
Points to check
Look for freedom from cracks, edge polish and trapped air bubbles when they are not intended. Ask about UV resistance and cleaning. A custom one-off differs from a numbered edition, and the detail should be in the listing.
