A figure in essence
An abstracted statue in natural stone keeps of the body only what carries: center of gravity, tilt, silhouette. Abstract natural stone statues for sale will appeal to anyone who wants the figure in its simplest form.
Soft rocks such as limestone or sandstone allow flowing transitions in which a torso is hardly distinguishable from a hill. Abstracted statues leave out faces and clothes and show posture and rhythm. The surface may be ground smooth or left deliberately coarse. The color of the rock also shapes the effect: cream feels calm, red energetic, gray sober.

Location and protection
Figures like these work in the garden, in front of a wall or in a hallway. Soft stones should be impregnated or stand under cover. Clarify type of rock, weight, foundation and fixing to the plinth. Remove dust with a soft brush and avoid high pressure. If you want to place several figures, choose distances that make them read like a quiet ensemble.
