A figure with gloss
A large resin figure has skin, gloss and depth that bronze does not know. You can look for resin statues from 2,000 to 5,000 euro for sale when you want a figure with a strong entrance and fine finishing.
Resin statues look like porcelain or glass when they stay clear, and like ceramic when kept matte. Faces, hands and drapery can be worked out in detail before the pour begins. The polish at the end traces the lines again.

The right stage
For a larger figure a place of its own is worth it, such as on a plinth or in a corner with a spotlight. Put it where it stands in lines of sight but not in a passageway. Dark wood behind it gives gloss a contrast, pale walls keep color fresh.
What listings reveal
Good texts give dimensions, weight, edition and signature. Ask about the fixing between figure and plinth, which should be stable. A note on cleaning without solvents spares you damage to the polish later.
