Line, plane, sign
Graphic photography treats the picture like a poster: strong planes, clear contours, sometimes letters or signs inside the motif. You can find graphic photo prints for sale here if structure matters more to you than mood.
The eye reads such pictures first as a pattern and then as an object. Lettering, signs, stripes and ornaments become picture elements. On photographic paper, edges stay precise and planes cleanly filled, which is decisive for the poster-like effect.

Pictorial and spatial
Graphic motifs carry from far away and therefore suit large, open rooms. They pair well with mid-century furniture as well as current design, and they hang well in series when frames and spacing stay the same.

If you like it more reduced, go to Black/White, and if you watch your budget, to pictures under 500 euro. In each case note paper, size and edition. For motifs with lettering, also ask whether the text inside the image stays readable in the print when you step closer.
