Originals in this selection, Minimalism, Material Watercolor, 500 to 1,000 euro.
Space on paper
Minimalist watercolor from 500 to 1,000 euro uses the breadth of a larger sheet for what is missing. If you want minimalist watercolors in this price tier for sale, you will find works with horizon lines, color fields and plenty of silence.
A single stripe of color on a large white can feel stronger than a full picture. The quality of the paper and the calm of the brush stroke are everything here. Even small irregularities in a gradient show the hand. A quiet blue above a pale zone is among the frequent motifs.

In the living space
Minimalist watercolors belong on walls with air. A bedroom, a stair landing or an office will welcome them. A slim wooden frame and a large mat frame the silence. Hang the sheet a little lower and the eye falls on the breadth of the paper.
Look closely
Ask about the paper surface, whether rough, cold-pressed or smooth. Depending on texture, the paint flows differently. Edge marks and signature deserve a look as well. The edge treatment of the sheet also deserves attention.
