Support as part of the picture
Acrylic on different supports gives minimalist pictures their own feel: smooth on wood, soft on paper, finely gridded on canvas. Minimalist acrylic works for sale in the 1,000 to 2,000 euro range are best judged by support and surface.
In very reduced painting, the support has a say. On wood, a field looks hard and precise, on paper livelier, on canvas lightly textured. The same color therefore looks different every time. The picture still remains a thought built from few elements.

Less is more wall
Hang minimalist acrylic pictures with plenty of distance from other objects. A single sheet on a large light surface works better than three small ones close together. In small rooms a wide mat border can enlarge the picture.
Notes before deciding
Ask about support, ground, protective coat, and edges. Wood and paper react to humidity, canvas less so. Look at photos in side light to judge surface and evenness of the color.
