Fast and compact
Pop on paper has the directness of a sketch, only with the color power of oil. If you want urban oil paintings on paper for sale, you are after handy formats with plenty of speed in the line.
Paper allows quick work and small series. With oil the surface turns matte, almost velvety, because the paper takes up some binder. Loud tones look less glossy as a result, yet all the denser. Sketchy pop sheets live from the courage to leave gaps: white that stays is part of the picture.

Hanging and framing
Small works on paper hang well in groups, for example as a grid above a chest of drawers. A mat gives the sheet air, a slim wooden frame holds the edges. Notes in the margin or color swatches can be an intentional part of the work.
Inspect the paper
Ask about the weight and type of paper and about the ground. Oil on unprimed paper can form halos, so every detail on preparation counts.
