The warmth of oil paint
Oil on canvas gives naive painting a warm, rich face: colors glow, contours stay soft, scenes feel like they come from a memory. Here you can find naive oil paintings on canvas for sale that show villages, animals and everyday scenes with a lot of heart.
Oil paint stays open for a long time, so naive painters blur transitions softly and fill areas richly. Skies turn deep blue, meadows deep green. This richness turns simple motifs into pictures you can linger in.

Sun and family
Naive oil pictures feel at home in rooms where people live: at the dining table, above the sofa, at the entrance. A wooden frame in a warm tone takes up the mood. Overly strict metal frames tend to feel cool.
Questions before buying
Clarify size, varnish and the condition of the canvas. With oil paintings with thick paint, drying can take months, so ask about the date of creation. A signature low in the picture is common with naive painters.
