Fewer signs, more weight
Minimalism in oil pastel reduces a picture to color, plane and mark. Paintings in the minimalist style with oil pastel from 500 to 1,000 euro are for sale here, with few strokes that open space.
When a picture consists only of one line, two planes or a grid, every stroke counts. Oil pastel delivers the density needed: color that stands calmly and contours you can feel. The light ground stays visible as a second actor.

Between 500 and 1,000 euro
Originals at this level often come in medium formats with plenty of white space. Check how cleanly edges and margins are worked, since reduced pictures show every blur. The description should name support and dimensions.
Calm on the wall
Minimalist pictures need wall space. A single sheet above a table or sofa is enough, ideally with a wide mat. Direct sun and heating air do the waxy material no good, a spot with mild, even light does.
