Originals in this selection, Surrealism, Material Acrylic, 500 to 1,000 euro.
Reality, slipped
Surrealism paints what plays out in the head after midnight: things in the wrong place, soft hardness, faces in patterns. Surrealist mixed media works with acrylic are for sale in this price band for readers who do not want to fight riddles with explanations.
Acrylic allows smooth, almost photographic passages next to collage and structure. The contrast between exactness and the absurd is the appeal: a cleanly painted eye in a cloud, a staircase leading into water. Mixed technique adds texture that grounds the dreamlike.

Hanging for wonder
Surreal works need room to keep quiet. A dark frame, softened light and a free wall strengthen the tension. Visitors will ask what the picture means, and that is a good reason to leave an answer open.
Detail questions
Ask about the support, varnish and how finely the collage parts are attached. With delicate elements in particular, a gap to the glass brings peace. A tip if you hesitate: keep the photo of the picture on your screen for a few days. Surreal motifs show quickly whether they let you go or keep you busy. Only the second kind deserves a place on the wall.
