Originals in this selection, Expressive and gestural, Fiberglass, 1,000 to 2,000 euro.
Sweep with volume
Gestural art in fiberglass catches movement in form: sweep that would otherwise stay on paper gains volume. Expressive mixed media with fiberglass from 1,000 to 2,000 euro is for sale when you want energy to turn three-dimensional.
The hollow shell allows loops, waves and overhangs that could not be cut from wood. Artists often start in clay or foam, cast a mold from it and laminate the shell inside. Color and lacquer stress the movement on the outer skin.

Strong color, smooth skin
On the smooth surface, strong colors stand especially clear. Splashes, stripes and fades stay as sharp as they were placed. Those who bring in mixed media also find paper, metal or mesh as structure. That makes contrasts between gloss and matte.
Format and location
Since the 1,000 to 2,000 euro tier often includes larger objects, it pays to decide the spot beforehand. A free wall or a plinth in calm surroundings gives the form air. Ask about weight, hanging and care.
