Line meets field
Drawing with acrylic sounds like a contradiction until you see how well ink, pencil and opaque paint get along on one sheet. You can find mixed media drawings with acrylic for sale here if you like sheets that sit between sketch and painting.
On paper, acrylic forms a flexible, water-resistant layer. You can draw over it without the color running. Conversely, a drawing can be veiled with a translucent color so that lines show through. Usually the color field comes first, then the line, or the other way round. You can read this order off the sheet: where the line sits over the paint it gleams slightly, where paint covers the line it looks softer.

Paper in a room
Sheets look calm and clear behind glass. Choose a mat of acid-free board so the paper does not buckle. Avoid hanging the work in blazing sunlight, as some pencils and markers fade.
Orientation when buying
You will find graphically minded sheets under Graphic, illustrative and typographic. If budget matters, look at pieces under 500 euro or from 500 to 1,000 euro.
