Line, plane, addition
Drawing on paper is the most original bond in art. Mixed-media drawings on paper for sale under 500 euro show sheets that speak of thinking in lines.
In mixed-media drawings pencil, India ink, charcoal and color meet. The line remains the lead, supplemented by tinted areas, collage parts or watercolor. This produces sheets that can be precise in drawing and soft in painting at once.

Taking it in hand
Under 500 euro drawings stay easy to handle: you can set them on a shelf, hang them on the wall or keep them in a portfolio. A portfolio with acid-free tissue adds protection when several sheets are to be hung in rotation.
Paper and care
Ask about paper weight and origin. Drawing paper with a light texture takes graphite and ink equally well. Avoid sun and damp, frame with distance to the glass and dust only the frame. That way the drawing lasts for decades without damage.
