Originals in this selection, Expressive and gestural, Pencil, under 500 euro.
Momentum over shading
A pencil can whisper or race across the sheet, and gestural drawings use that whole range. You can buy expressive pencil drawings for sale under 500 euro, often as works on paper that show the movement of the hand without polish.
Gestural pencil drawings live on speed. Lines go down in a single stroke, cross each other and tear open again. Pressure shifts from barely visible to deep and glossy, and soft leads give velvety blacks beside faint greys. Eraser marks and smudges are part of the handwriting and are left standing on purpose.

What under 500 euro brings
At this level, original art often means sheets in handy sizes, studies and young positions. A pencil drawing does not need a big wall: a pale mat and frame give the lines room to breathe. Hang it where you pass by and glance, for example next to a desk.
Check paper and glass
Graphite smudges easily, so the sheet belongs behind glass. In the description, look for acid-free paper and for whether the drawing arrives framed or loose.
