The pencil is the most honest tool of drawing, and with color it becomes a storyteller. Colored pencil drawings for sale reward interest in fine lines that also glow, for example in the tier 1,000 to 2,000 euro.
With a pencil, pressure can be regulated finely, from a breath to a rich stroke. Colored pencils follow this principle, just in red, green or blue. Hatching layered over each other gives mixed colors without anything getting wet.

Durability
Graphite is stable, color pigments not always. Ask about lightfast pencils and hang the sheet out of the sun. Glass with UV protection can further help preserve the colors for years. A tip for hanging: colored pencil sheets cope better with neighbors of wood and natural fiber than with mirrors or glass, since their quiet colors easily drown beside shiny surfaces.
