Line and pigment
Giclée brings comic drawings onto paper with lightfast pigments and fine raster dots. Anyone who wants to buy comic giclées for sale gets sheets on which the line stays sharp and the color rich.
The nozzle sprays in layers that blend colors into soft gradients. For comics, which rest on flat colors and dark contours, this is ideal, as even the smallest details stay legible. Quality paper keeps the ink from feathering. That is an advantage even in small formats when speech bubbles or sound words appear in the picture.

Original or reproduction?
Since giclée also delivers reproductions of paintings, the description matters: is it a limited edition by the artist, with signature and certificate? Only then should a sheet count as an original.
Hanging and caring
UV glass and an acid-free mat secure the colors. Avoid rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms, and direct sun. To narrow your budget, you will find sheets on paper or under 500 euro.
