Originals in this selection, Linocut, Expressive and gestural.
Cuts with direction
The expressive linocut is gesture in material: it cuts, scratches, and presses, and the impression holds it fast. Expressive linocuts for sale are collected here, with cuts that show force and direction.
In gestural linocuts, the furrows often run across the picture and give it pull. Broad, broken areas stand beside fine scratches. Unlike in a brushstroke, every decision is final, since linoleum does not forgive. The result recalls woodcut Expressionism, only with a softer edge.

Force in the room
Such sheets tolerate large mats and strong frames. Hang them where you want energy in the room, perhaps in a study. Black-and-white work holds up even in poor light, while colored impressions need brighter daylight.
Notes for the description
Look at numbering and the number of print passes, since the edition of linocuts usually stays modest. Also look under 500 euro if you seek handy formats, and have the paper weight named.
