Force and finesse
Gestural painting on acrylic and canvas, drawn over with marker: broad color movement meets a precise line. For anyone who wants to buy expressive marker paintings for sale, that shift between force and finesse is the appeal.
First comes the brush or palette knife with broad bands of acrylic, later the marker, which adds traces, scratches and script-like marks. The lines sit on the dry paint layer and stay visible, even over strong tones. The markers act like a second voice: while the acrylic layer provides energy and surface, the lines supply punch lines and rhythm. See whether both levels balance each other or one clearly leads.

Hanging and lighting
Strong pictures tolerate a plain surrounding. Raking light brings out brush marks and marker lines alike. A deep format can hang without a frame if the edges are painted too.
Notes for choosing
Look for information on marker type, varnish and possible UV protection. If you want calm in a wall, a single large picture usually serves better than several small ones.
