The craft of water-based paint
Watercolor under 500 euro is a technique worth taking seriously even in small formats. If you want watercolors in this price tier for sale, you will find originals on paper in which every glaze was set by hand.
Watercolor pigments are bound with gum arabic and thinned with water. That makes the paint transparent and lets the white of the paper glow. Every brush stroke stays visible, which sets an original apart from any print. Thinly applied tones show the grain of the paper, thick tones cover it.

What this range offers
Typical are small to medium sheets, studies and light motifs like flowers, landscapes and scenes. If you want to collect, you can build a coherent ensemble from several sheets. The range runs from small flower pieces to free color studies.
Securing longevity
Frame a watercolor behind glass with a UV filter and a mat. That keeps the sheet flat and the colors fresh. Choose a dry spot without direct sun.
