A stage without actors
Acrylic lays down the skies and shadows of metaphysical pictures with flawless calm. Metaphysical acrylic on canvas paintings for sale in the 500 to 1,000 euro range bring a stage without a plot into your home.
Empty squares, a wall, a tower in the distance: metaphysical motifs need smooth, even fields, and acrylic delivers them. Skies step almost imperceptibly from green to yellow, shadows fall long and sharp. It feels like a dream that was planned to the millimeter.

Plan for distance
Because such pictures live on expanse, they need distance from the viewer. Think of the view from several steps away, say from the dining table to the wall. Matte acrylic surfaces reflect little, so side light from a window hardly disturbs.
Check small things
On smooth fields, specks of dust and stray brush hairs show more clearly. Study the surface under raking light if the photos in the description allow it. Painted edges or a fine shadow-gap frame keep the stage neatly bounded.
