Many materials, one picture
Mixed media unites brush, paper, chalk and can on one surface. Anyone looking at mixed-media paintings with spray paint from 5,000 to 10,000 euro for sale seeks pictures in which many hands and materials come together.
Besides acrylic and spray paint, charcoal, collage, oil or markers may be used. The interplay is the appeal: rough beside smooth, opaque beside translucent. The larger the format, the more clearly the planning shows that lies behind the apparent freedom.

Which questions are worth asking
With mixed technique in particular, the list of materials matters. Ask which paints and substances were used and whether the work is sealed. The more precise the details, the easier it is to plan care and placement. Notes on light sensitivity make sense too.
Hanging and room effect
Mixed techniques often have strong surfaces. A spot with side light shows relief and layers, while smooth walls emphasize the contrast. Give the picture distance from furniture so that the edges get noticed as well.
