Clear form, living edge
Geometry in oil pastel makes an exciting contrast: strict shapes in a soft, hand-guided material. Paintings in the geometric style with oil pastel from 500 to 1,000 euro are for sale here, with lines that are never entirely mechanical.
Circles, squares, grids: in oil pastel they gain a visible handwriting. The edge is not sharp like print but fringed with wax and grain. Where planes overlap, new tones appear. The result feels constructed and yet warm.

Place in the room
Geometric pictures bring order into living rooms, hallways and offices. They work in a row as well as alone. Choose a slim frame in wood or aluminum and leave enough wall free. A mat adds extra precision.
Check and ask
With dimensions, a close look at margin and format is worthwhile. Even a few millimeters change the impression of geometric pictures. Also ask about the support and whether the chalk was protected.
