Chalk like a marker
Urban and Pop have found the fitting material in oil pastel: loud, direct and without drying time. Paintings in the Urban and Pop style with oil pastel from 500 to 1,000 euro are for sale here.
Oil pastel covers areas fast, delivers strong contours and holds lettering as well as figures. Neon colors, black and white stand hard against each other. Because you can write with the chalk like with a marker, some motifs look like spontaneous wall sketches.

Mid tier, big appearance
With originals from 500 to 1,000 euro, medium paper formats and smaller canvases are usual. The mix of pop symbols, lettering and figure makes an impression in hallways, kitchens and studios. Hang a sheet alone or two side by side.
Keeping durability in view
Neon pigments are not always lightfast. Ask about the paint quality and choose UV glass. Because oil pastel stays soft, distance between picture and pane protects against imprints. That keeps colors and contours crisp for a long time.
