Originals in this selection, Modern, Material Acrylic, 2,000 to 5,000 euro.
Large forms, clear lines
Plane, edge, counterweight: modern art builds pictures from few elements that support one another. Modern mixed media works with acrylic are for sale in this price band for readers looking for a large, calm picture that organizes the room.
At larger formats modern compositions show their strength: color fields breathe, edges stand sharp, collage parts lie like placed accents. Acrylic keeps the planes even and satin-matte. Supplementary lines in charcoal or ink hold the tension.

Living with a stance
A modern picture of this size can hold a room together. It suits clean architecture but also rooms with furniture from different eras. Hang it with enough distance from ceiling and furniture so the proportions work. Such works are flexible in color too: a restrained picture in gray, white and ochre fits many interiors, while one with a strong accent sets a deliberate counterpoint. Ask yourself what role the picture should take in the room.
Before buying
Ask about the support, depth, edge treatment and varnish. With single-color fields, look at evenness and possible traces of processing.
