Can meets collage
In modern work, spray paint meets paper layers, tape and acrylic fields, and those very seams are where it gets interesting. If you want modern mixed media with spray paint for sale, you are usually after the contrast between can and collage.
A fine spray mist next to a glued paper edge reads almost like a shadow. Modern mixed media plays on this contrast: one area stays soft and fading, the next is cut hard. Reserved shapes, stencils or taped stripes lead the eye through the picture without needing a figure at all.

Hanging and care
Layered surfaces of paper, paint and spray lacquer form a slight relief and cast small shadows. Light from the side brings that texture out. Ask in the description whether the piece is fixed or varnished, because spray layers react to rubbing. Dust it with a soft brush and keep it away from damp walls.
Support and layers
Whether canvas, wood or aluminum, the support decides how long spray paint and paper hold together. Ask how the collage parts are glued and what the back looks like. A clean, flat back with a hanger shows the piece was built for a wall.
