"XX 62 - Jockey and horse" by Uli Lächelt captures the dynamic relationship between rider and steed through an elegant and minimalist approach. The painting employs fluid, expressive lines to outline the forms of both jockey and horse, emphasizing movement and grace rather than intricate detail. The muted, almost monochromatic background contrasts with the bold black strokes, creating a sense of depth and focus on the central figures. This work embodies a harmonious balance between abstraction and representation, inviting viewers to appreciate the energy and connection inherent in the equestrian subject. Lächelt’s mastery of painting technique is evident in the confident, spontaneous lines that convey both strength and delicacy.
