This oil on canvas depicts an old farmhouse bathed in light, nestled in the heart of a rolling landscape in Brissac (Hérault). A winding road leads to the building, which is surrounded by trees. The contrast between the sunlit areas, with their yellow and white hues, and the deep shadows, in an intense blue, sculpts the contours of the rocks and hills. The composition and vibrant color palette lend the work a luminous and authentic atmosphere.
This oil painting is currently part of the Artothèque collection in Montpellier and will not be available until mid-September. (It can, however, be reserved for that date.)
