Everyone is free to form their own thoughts and interpretations of my artworks. I do not prescribe anything, nor do I wish to influence anyone. Here is my personal interpretation of the work.
The shadows dance across the canvas, a silent ballet of light and darkness. Every stroke of paint, every line tells a story, whispers of past dreams and unfulfilled desires. The white shapes seem to strive for freedom, while the black embraces and holds them.
Perhaps this is an image of the inner struggles we all go through. Some people less, others more. The sharp edges symbolize the obstacles that must be overcome in order to achieve our goals in life—even if it is only the pursuit of happiness. The vertical stripes could represent time passing inexorably as we search for answers.
We are all part of an abstract painting, each of us a brushstroke on the canvas of life.
