Soft Target is a play with the balance between the calm and raw energy. I wanted the massive canvas, the scumbled quiet cream textures and soft pink washes to give off a relaxed, vulnerable feeling at first glance... leaving a little for the more curious. For me, it is all about exploring that contrast between clean, polished surfaces and messy, human emotion.
