This is a series of watercolor and ink drawings on paper, situated at the boundary between realism and surrealism, which explores the decline of marine biodiversity in the context of the Anthropocene. Through a poetic, symbolic, and deeply sensorial approach, this project seeks to make visible what disappears in silence: marine species threatened by human activity, forgotten oceanic narratives, and the cultural imaginaries associated with the sea across different traditions. Doris was a sea goddess in Greek mythology, one of the Oceanids who represented the fertility of the oceans.
