The column structures are a legacy of a bygone civilization. In the distance is a city where a rocket is about to launch. But the landscape is barren, almost like a desert. Only in the foreground can grasses, lizards, and insects be seen. Above it all are two planets. In my collage, I interweave surreal and symbolic elements on paper to create a dreamlike scene. I play with contrasts and structures by bringing cartographic fragments and everyday scenes into dialogue. The combination of floating lightness and earthy connectedness invites reflection on space, time, and our individual paths.
