Original artwork description
Waiting man in Blue.
This original semi-abstract figurative painting captures the impression of a man seen from behind, with loose brushwork, textured layers, and soft blue, white, cream, and beige tones creating a quiet, atmospheric presence. More suggested than defined, the figure feels distant and quietly expectant, which gives the artwork an emotional subtlety that will appeal to collectors who love semi-abstract portraiture, masculine imagery, and contemporary art with a gentle, understated mood. This painting would work beautifully in a bedroom, hallway, study, or elegant living space.
Can be paired with its companion piece, this painting evokes a quiet romantic encounter in motion — she moves toward him, while he waits for her.
-acrylic painting on stretched canvas, ready to hang, all sides are painted.
