Original artwork description
BIRCHES ON THE LAKESHORE is a photo included in my project “Blaue Blume”.The “Blaue Blume” project (in English, literally blue flower), drawing inspiration from the most famous landscape paintings of the Romantic period, both in style and content, aims to be my personal tribute to the artistic movement that was a precursor to Impressionism and Abstractism, and which, more than any other, has inspired and influenced my most recent photographic work. The blue flower, the undisputed symbol of Romanticism, is a metaphor for the search for oneself, it is the journey of the wanderer, the traveler always on the run, it is the journey of the soul, it is the realization of ones dream.Birches on the Lakeshore” is an evocative fine art photograph that blurs the lines between reality and abstraction, creating a dreamlike impression of slender birch trees reflected in the stillness of a lakeside setting. The intricate layering of textures, combined with soft, earthy tones and muted blues, evokes a sense of quiet contemplation and harmony with nature. The motion-like effect in the composition enhances the feeling of movement, as though the trees are swaying gently in a breeze or resonating with the whispers of the lake. This artwork complements modern and minimalist interiors, offering a serene focal point that harmonizes with clean lines and neutral palettes. In a Scandinavian-inspired space, the natural motifs and subdued colors echo the simplicity and organic charm of Nordic design. The photograph would also enhance rustic or farmhouse-style interiors, particularly when paired with elements such as reclaimed wood, natural stone, or linen textiles, creating an atmosphere of warmth and connection to the outdoors.---BIRCHES ON THE LAKESHORE✔️ Limited edition of 15;✔️ Giclée fine art print on Innova Exhibition Matte Polycotton Canvas 380gsm (with margin of 5 cm);✔️ Hand signed on the back;✔️ Certificate of authenticity, signed and numbered;✔️ Hahnemühle matt protective varnish for canvas inkjet prints applied.
