Handling light in the room
Acrylic bends light in its edges and tints shadows. A spot beside a window with mild north light, or under a spotlight with warm white, shows the colors more honestly than cold light. On a dark console the transparency makes a fine contrast.
Details that give answers
Ask for close-ups of the edges and the glue joints. Tiny bubbles are normal in cast forms, cracks are not. Also ask how it is fixed to the base and which cleaners are recommended, since alcohol attacks acrylic.
