Originals in this selection, Abstract, Material Ink, 500 to 1,000 euro.
Abstraction with weight
Large, open forms and layers of color define abstract printmaking in this price range. Abstract ink prints for sale from 500 to 1,000 euro are best chosen with an eye on format and paper.
On a larger format, abstract ink prints develop momentum. Gestural lines, fields of color and plate textures sit freely on the sheet. Several passes through the press give dark tones a depth rarely seen at small size.

Giving space, steering light
An abstract print needs wall. Leave room all around and choose plain frames so the shapes can spread. Raking light makes structures visible, while direct sun is best avoided.
Detail questions before buying
Ask about the number of impressions, the plate size and the paper. A pencil number and signature belong to a properly documented sheet. The words proof or hand-pulled show that the artist pulled the sheet personally. The question of whether the sheet is offered as a one-off or a numbered edition fits here too, since it affects rarity and care alike.
