As there are no flowers in nature in winter, painting a summer flower is a nice reminder. This is my way of painting a sunflower, in a completely natural style, including the transparent primed canvas made of coarse jute. And since sunflowers are usually very large, I used two canvases (the artwork consists of 2 parts, each canvas measures 50x70 cm).
Different shades of yellow and orange make the blossom shine and promise to be a wonderful companion not only during the cold winter days.
