Original artwork description
As you look at my artwork, I hope you cant help but be transported into my world, sailing around the globe with my family for seven years. An incredible journey: 7 years, 30,000 nautical miles / 55,000 kilometers, 28 countries. Storms, waves, transatlantic passages, the almost incomprehensible vastness of the Pacific, weeks with no land in sight, isolated islands...
The Terra Mystica series is a celebration of the mysteries of the earth, its raw power and ethereal beauty.
Rich, vibrant red, this work is warmth and energy, created from my memories of New Caledonia with its mystical red earth and stones.
